I have known Neil for many many years and met him while working at fly by nite. Neil started by doing work free of charge to gain experience and knowledge of the industry. I got to know Neil quite well during this period and decided to give him a chance to do some crewing for me. He became a valued member of our crew and picked up valuable experience to help him along his way. Neil decided to go in for lighting and has been a great asset to many of his clients. I would like to wish Neil all the best in his new business venture.

I came across Neil during the Meltdown Retreat in November 2019. I didn’t really know much about him, but as I came to know him during that weekend and experience the lighting show he put on for Meltdown, I was seriously in awe of his work.

My Christian rock music organization has staged concerts and tours for the past 40 years. In that time, we have used many different sound and lighting engineers and music producers. Neil is without doubt one of the best lighting engineers that we have ever worked with. In 2019 Neil travelled with us to provide lighting at the Rainbow Rock Festival in Sweden and again at the 2019 Meltdown hard music retreat. He is entirely charged with the continuous improvement of the “look” of the 2nd stage and also operates the main stage console when needed. He has also been instrumental in coaching enthusiastic starters in the lighting world to learn and have a go and generally ignited their passions. Due to restrictions remaining through June 2021 I had to change the feel of a performance as the audience couldn't dance. Neil at Genesis Lights was the perfect addition - he turned a solo gig into a full-scale show; spots, hazers, search lights and mood enhancing washes and other technical things I don't fully understand.
